At Delilah Devine, we believe that doing good makes good business sense. We love to create and share our work, but we believe that how we do it is just as important as the finished product.
Our studio operates on 100% renewable energy (green power) and, as we operate locally, we aim to minimise emissions created through freight as much as possible. We are all for recycling, reusing and reducing waste. Our orders are sent in reused packaging materials – such as bubblewrap and boxes – which have been collected from local stores, and diverted from landfill as a result.
Delilah uses Adelaide-based suppliers wherever we can to support local business and reduce our shipping footprint. We’re on a first-name basis with our laser cutter, printers and box manufacturers, so we know them and trust their commitment to running a fair and equitable workplace.
Starting a small business was a straightforward process for us, but for many people around the world it’s a dream that never becomes a reality. Delilah donates 10% of all online sales to Kiva, a non-profit organisation with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Kiva believe that providing affordable access to capital to those in need helps people create better lives for themselves and their families. Since 2005, Kiva have helped over a million people who would not have otherwise had access to finance.
